Adult Classes – Are offered in Ballet, Tap and Jazz and Fitness from beginner to advanced levels. Day and evening classes are available to suit all schedules.

Belly Dancing - This class is an excellent exercise class as well as a fun form of movement. Based on middle eastern movements use of scarves and cymbals eventually come into play. This class is offered for the older teen through adult.

Body Sculpt Exercise - This class combines toning, strengthening and some aerobics all into one class. Fun music, along with the use of weights, bands, steps and more makes the class a great workout. Designed for the adult who wants a great workout to tone the body. Work at your own pace.

 


Classic Ballet – Beginner, intermediate and advanced at various levels include more advanced barre and center work stressing use of head, arms, body line and placement. Pointe (toe) work added when sufficient strength and skill in ballet is developed. Character work included in all ballet classes.

Jazz Dancing – A type of dancing used in our present day stage, TV and movie musicals. It is derived from many other forms of dance. Jazz techniques develop strength of movement and is an excellent body builder for teenagers and adults. Enjoy the pleasure of dance while toning up muscles and conditioning the body.

Jazz Funk Hip Hop (I & II) - This is a combination of jazz techniques along with the current movements in street dancing. Contemporary music is used in class and students are encouraged to work on their style as well as technique. I & II represent the different levels.

Kindergarten – A combination of pre-ballet, songs and tap dancing designed to develop rhythm, coordination, learning techniques, grace and limberness which are so vitally important to future study.

Modern (I & II) - The expansion of the ballet using contemporary movements and music. Many styles of modern are incorporated in the class, as well as encouragement of students to develop their own style. Students must take classical ballet along with the modern. I & II are the different levels and age groups.

Pilates - This class is an extremely great workout, using a combination of ballet moves, yoga and toning exercise. Great for the mind as well as the body.

Pointe - The continuation of the ballet, for the more advanced to dance on the toes. Class is devoted to the proper technique of pointe as well as learning the fundamentals. Students must take at least two ballet classes in order to participate in the pointe class.

Pre-Dance For 3 Year Olds – A program designed as an introduction to dance. The class incorporates rhythm, movement, coordination, musicality, and tumbling along with basics of dance. The session is 8 weeks with the class being 45 minutes in length. Children may wear leotards and tights, ballet slippers, and must be potty trained. At the end of the session, all parents and relatives are invited to come watch the last class to see what the children have learned. The sessions continue from September through June with each one having different class work.

Pre-School – A combination of rhythmic activities, story dances, personality songs and a basic foundation in elementary tap and ballet.

Six -8 Year Olds Ballet/Tap – Instruction in fundamental ballet barre and center work. Songs and tap dancing for rhythm and coordination included in the same lesson.

Tap Dancing - Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Use of entire body is stressed along with foot work in order to develop a sensitive awareness of movement, rhythm and balance giving the student flexibility needed for performing tap routines as well as other forms of theatre dance. Excellent for toning muscles of the legs.
